Amazon has revealed that Manchester City’s 3-0 first leg victory over Bayern Munich in the Uefa Champions League quarter-final on 11th April broke Prime Video’s live streaming record in Germany

Amazon currently broadcasts first-pick game held on Tuesdays, meaning a total of 16 Champions League matches are shown on Prime Video each season. In December, the streaming giant renewed its rights deal with Uefa, which kicks in from the 2024/25 campaign.
Prime Video subscribers will next be able to watch the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final between Chelsea and Real Madrid on 18th April.
