Uefa has introduced ‘Champions Innovate’, an initiative inviting sustainability-focused startups to create solutions and ideas to challenges identified by Champions League sponsors PepsiCo, Mastercard and Just Eat Takeaway.

- Partners will mentor selected startups throughout the testing phase
- Successful pilot projects will be integrated into the final’s organisation
The initiative was formed as part of a partnership between Uefa, the Greater London Authority and the three sponsoring companies.
“With Champions Innovate, the Uefa Innovation Hub aims to unearth the champions of innovation who can contribute to football’s development in every aspect,” said Andrea Traverso, Uefa’s director of financial sustainability and research.
